The gas-assisted injection molding process is divided into the following stages during the molding process:
1. Injection molding stage: Fill the cavity with a quantitative amount of plastic. This stage is to ensure that during blowing, the gas will not break the product surface and have an ideal blowing gas.
2. Air blowing stage: gas can be injected at different times during or after the injection molding period. The gas injection pressure must be greater than the injection pressure, so that the product becomes hollow.
3. Gas pressure holding stage: When the product is filled with gas, the pressure of the gas acting on the hollow part of the product is the holding pressure, which can greatly reduce the shrinkage and deformation of the product.
4. Demolding period: With the completion of the cooling, the gas pressure of the mold will reach atmospheric pressure, and the product will be ejected from the mold cavity.
